Is-sinjal għal TRAFFIC LIGHTS isir biż-żewġ idejn. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 mgħawġa bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Id waħda titqiegħed ’il fuq mir-ras u l-id l-oħra titqiegħed iktar ’isfel. Imbagħad l-idejn jinżlu ftit ieħor. L-idejn jinfetħu waħda wara l-oħra biex waħda biss tkun miftuħa u biex tkun infetħet id f’kull waħda mit-tliet pożizzjonijiet bħalma jagħmlu l-bozoz tat-traffic lights.
Is-sinjal jista’ jsir b’id waħda u l-id tinfetaħ u tingħalaq f’kull waħda mit-tliet pożizzjonijiet.
The sign for TRAFFIC LIGHTS is made with two hands. The hands take the shape of bent 5 with palm facing inwards. One hand is placed over the head and the other further down. Then the hands move down further. The hands open in turn so that only one hand is open at any one time and so that a hand would have opened in all of the three positions just like the coloured traffic lights.
The sign can be made with one hand which opens and shuts at each of the three positions in turn.
